Users’ Perceptions of the Contribution of a University Green Roof to Sustainable Development

Universities are well placed to adopt and use the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on their campuses educate showcase how SDGs can be delivered in built environment. Green infrastructure, such as green roofs, walls, or parks, highly visual implementations with environmental social benefits that contribute several SDGs, 3 (good health wellbeing), 10 (reduced inequalities), 11 (sustainable cities communities), 13 (climate action) 15 (life land). These features may referenced sustainability teaching learning, which raise heighten awareness of social, economic, infrastructure. In this study, we explored users’ perceptions extent a university campus roof contributes whether users focussed more its benefits. Statistical analyses, namely independent samples t-tests analysis variance, were conducted determine what influenced roof. The analyses revealed did not differ largely by sociodemographic characteristics, though students perceived greater than staff. Those knowledge roofs greater, but findings demonstrate importance infrastructure for encouraging engagement whilst indicating increases appreciation credentials.
